As Frank Zappa made me realize : creatures like Jimbo DO exist and the scary thing is that they honestly believe in what they say. In its own twisted way it’s more fascinating to read what he writes than to read the drivel from Messrs Linuxen Fanzz whose subconscious knows damn well they are spouting drivel, but whose accepted reality tunnel forces them to repress, leading into vitriolic anti-arguments against the opposition.

In that respect, linux-fan comments are very interesting reads if you want to understand why Freud definitely had a lot of excellent thoughts.

Jimbo tron not understand demotractism aim for distribute wealth to poor because of natural right. Just because have wealth and power not mean need to have all wealth and power. I meant what the republicans represented before they got on the whole ‘God, Guns and Gays’ approach to government.

In reality I don’t think any political party actually cares about it’s alleged ideals.

Not understanding differences in politic parties. Libertarianism in favor for small government and people do drugs. Republicanism in favor of massive american empire with low taxes for rich. Republicanism result pointless wars and banking problems. Libertarianism result peopel own lots guns, lots gays, and lots drugs. Republicans party belive in god. It’s amusing when an American knows less about their government than an admittedly ill-informed Brit.

Anyway the Republican party is _meant_ to stand for small government, personal responsibility and non-interventionism. The antithesis of the modern Republican party. The are certainly (traditionally) not about ‘keeping the world in its place’.
